After sunrise, explore Angkor Wat's inner galleries and bas-reliefs.

Grab breakfast at a nearby café or packed by your hotel.
Midday
Angkor Thom South Gate – the majestic entrance.
Bayon Temple – famous for its serene smiling stone faces.
Baphuon & Terrace of the Elephants – explore other gems within Angkor Thom.
Lunch
Local restaurant near Srah Srang or Angkor Thom.
Afternoon
Banteay Kdei – quiet, less crowded, peaceful temple ruins.
Srah Srang – the royal bathing pool, nice view at sunset.
Day 2 – Jungle Mystique & Pink Sandstone: Ta Prohm & Banteay Srei
Morning
Ta Prohm – go early to beat the crowd.
Famous for trees growing out of temple walls. "Tomb Raider Temple."
Mid-morning
Travel (~1 hour) to Banteay Srei
Intricate pink sandstone carvings – a different style from Angkor Wat.
On the way, optional stops at local villages or landmine museum.
Lunch
Have lunch near Banteay Srei or head back toward Siem Reap.
Optional:
On return, stop at Pre Rup or East Mebon for sunset if energy allows.
Day 3 – Floating Villages & Local Life: Tonle Sap Lake
Morning
Tonle Sap Lake – Kampong Phluk, Kampong Kleang or Mechrey Floating Village.
Boat tour through floating villages, mangroves (in wet season).
Learn about local life, floating schools, fish farming.
Lunch
Enjoy a lakeside meal or return to Siem Reap for local cuisine.
Afternoon (flexible options)
Spa/massage in Siem Reap.
Local market shopping (Old Market, Artisans Angkor).
Visit Angkor National Museum for context.
